CSG Consultants was pleased to participate in the APWA Sacramento Chapter Annual Golf Tournament on Aug. 14 at Lincoln Hills Golf Club. The annual event brought together public works professionals, agency partners and industry colleagues from throughout the Sacramento region for a day of connection and collaboration.
More than an opportunity to spend a day on the course, the tournament supports an important mission. Proceeds benefit the APWA Sacramento Chapter’s Scholarship and Education Endowment Programs, which help provide educational opportunities and resources for students and emerging professionals pursuing careers in public works.
Public works professionals play an essential role in building, maintaining and improving the infrastructure that communities depend on every day. Supporting scholarships and educational opportunities helps invest in the next generation of professionals who will continue this important work.
Events like the annual golf tournament also provide an opportunity to strengthen relationships across the public works community. Bringing together public agencies, consultants and industry partners encourages connections and collaboration that extend beyond the course and into the communities we collectively serve.
CSG is proud to support the APWA Sacramento Chapter and its continued investment in the future of public works. Thank you to the Chapter, event organizers, sponsors, participants and volunteers who made this year’s tournament possible.
