CSG Invests in Workplace Preparedness with CPR Training

At CSG, looking out for our people goes beyond providing a safe place to work. It means giving employees the knowledge and practical skills they need to respond when someone around them needs help.

As part of that commitment, we offer hands-on training in CPR, automated external defibrillator (AED) use, and first aid for our staff. The training gives employees an opportunity to practice emergency response techniques, become familiar with AED equipment and build confidence in responding to a range of situations.

For CSG, that preparedness has value both inside and outside the workplace. Our employees work across offices, project sites, and communities throughout California, interacting with coworkers, clients, and the public. An emergency can happen anywhere, and the person best positioned to help in the first few moments may simply be the person who happens to be there.

Training helps turn that knowledge into action. Hands-on training builds familiarity and confidence, helping participants feel better prepared to recognize an emergency, call for professional help, and provide appropriate assistance while waiting for first responders.

Building a Culture of Preparedness

Workplace safety is not limited to policies, procedures, or equipment. It also depends on people being prepared to act.

By providing CPR, AED and first aid training, CSG strengthens an important part of our workplace preparedness and gives employees skills they can carry with them wherever they go. If an emergency occurs, more people know what to do and are prepared to step forward.

That reflects something fundamental about CSG: Our people look out for people. Investing in CPR training is one of many ways we support our employees and strengthen a culture in which safety, preparedness, and care for others are part of how we work.
